The first group that visited Boracay while I was here was Taejon Christian International School. They are from Daejean, South Korea. There were 9 students and 6 adult leaders. The leaders were teachers, dorm parents, a youth pastor and a visitor from their sister school in the U.S., St. George's School in Rhode Island. The school in Kindergarten through 12th grade, but most the students on the trip were juniors and one was a sophomore.
During their trip they worked at the construction site where they passed concrete buckets along a line. They complete many beams that will hold the structure together. They also visited the feeding sites where they had skits on Jesus and Peter walking on water, and Zaccheus the tax collector. They also got to do an outreach at one of the schools on the island. Here they got really good interaction with the high scholars and got to share some things from the Korean culture.
As a special treat, one of the leaders left Jimer his guitar. I know this group really touched the people on the island and the people of the ministry. I just hope that the ministry has a special place in their hearts not that they have experienced it first-hand.

Tommy is spent after a HOT day at the construction site.

Brian and Hynn Bin putting their muscles to work

Meredith, Allison, and Virginia watching over Jessica's shoulder to learn how to make a bird out of palm leaves.
